It has been an extremely long two days! We got onto Virgin Atlantic and much to my surprise the plane was HUGE. The flight in general wasn't too terrible, except for the very minimal leg room and the rather abrupt wake up call at 5:30am London time for breakfast.
Before we knew it, we had landed at Heathrow and made our way quickly through customs. After a longer than expected coach bus ride (and a quick cat nap) we arrived at our new living arrangements. Maggie and I are living in a pretty spacious apartment with a large bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen! The building in general is beautiful, as well as the neighborhood. After somewhat settling in, we ventured out (but stayed close by) to try and find SIM cards for our cell phones as well as explore the local area...who knew Starbucks was so popular over here?! We are now sitting in the student center of the University where we will be taking classes after listening to a rather humorous safety lecture from a London policeman. Next up, we have a two hour walking your, a group dinner, and then FINALLY we get to sleep. It has been an extremely eventful day, but I think we are all ready for it to be over.
